As most of you are aware a professional arborist was hired to evaluate our trees and plant a few new ones in front of owners condos last spring. The board is pleased to announce that Guardian Tree Experts has again been hired to continue work in the Fox Glen area. After a walk around evaluation it was determined that we should continue to manage and focus on care and improvement of existing landscape before we focus too heavily on planting new trees.
Most conifers in the central courtyard and newer conifers on landscape berms south and west side of the property have received needed care. Fertilization to all struggling and stressed trees throughout the complex will take place both spring and fall. Pruning and stump grinding, pushing back buckthorn on the east of the property and removing additional buckthorn throughout will take place this spring.
All stressed/diseased blue spruce and white spruce will receive needed fungicide application to help suppress needle and twig disease. In addition all Austrian pines south and west side of the property will receive 2 applications to help suppress needle disease. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me bcomai@sbcglobal.net Thanks Barbara Comai

I refer to the following comment during the Sept 2015 meeting:
“Laurel reminded the community that the yards are common areas, thus we all have a shared interest in keeping them up and looking good.”
I am aware of a unit on the left side of Bridle Pass immediately off of Ellsworth that has had several bags of potting soil left on the front yard for at least two – three weeks. There may be other units on Bridle Pass that may also need to have the front common areas of the units addressed as possible eyesores (unsightly items left out front). Fox Glen is a very nice area and we should make the effort as much as possible to maintain it to the best of our ability. Not all units are uniform in appearance as far as the front yards, front doors and porches. As long as the front areas look clean, neat and nicely maintained in order to keep Fox Glen looking as lovely as it should and maintain its value.

Thank you.
