This is to let you know that mid-next week (week of May 2-6, 2016) Twin Oaks plans to start-up our irrigation system for the season. They will check and aim our irrigation heads and set the durations for each of our irrigation zones.
As in the past, they will flag any heads that need replacement, give us a cost estimate, and the Board will approve the expenditure.
In addition, this year the Board has asked Twin Oaks to map the locations of all 720+ sprinkler heads and all 77 underground valves that each control a zone – this has never been done. Once we have this information, we will be able to identify how to best combine heads in zones so that we can better control our irrigation and minimize areas that are too wet or too dry.
