We’re expecting the first ‘winter event’ tomorrow, Saturday November 21, 2015 – snow is predicted and Twin Oaks will be ready to clear the snow and perform ‘ice control’ if needed.
Reminder: if there are any spots that Twin Oaks misses, or if there are any other problems with snow removal or ice control, please call our Winter Czar, Laurel Lavery (while the workers are on site, if possible). Laurel has the cell number of the Twin Oaks supervisor and can get hold of him. Laurel’s phone number is on our website foxglenassociation.org under CO-OWNERS/RESIDENTS > REPORT A PROBLEM OR VIOLATION.
The new contract we have with Twin Oaks states they will “plow and shovel all snow accumulation in excess of 1 inch to begin within three (3) hours of the end of the snow fall event for events 6” or less. It is understood that the time frame is dependent on exterior road conditions and the contractor’s ability to utilize public roads to reach the site. In continuous snowfall more than 6”, it is understood that there will be multiple visits and the contractor will not wait until the end of the snow fall event to begin service.”
If you want to read the complete language of the contract, you can see it under CO-OWNERS/RESIDENTS > CONTRACTS.
