Fox Glen Residents,
Core samples of our roads will be taken in several places next Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Tests will be run on the samples and the results will tell us how good our road bed is and, in turn, help us better estimate the cost of the road replacement project, currently planned for 2021.
The core sampling shouldn’t be very disruptive. Work will start at 8am and be done before noon that day. The equipment will be a pickup truck with a small trailer holding the coring rig. It will block only one vehicle width, so traffic in Fox Glen can continue. During the morning residents may hear noise from the generator that powers the coring rig.
