Fox Glen co-owners & residents,
This is to let you know that we are having all of our trees along Ellsworth and Lohr – both deciduous and evergreens on both sides of the sidewalk – and the trees along Rodeo, mulched this year. The tentative start date for this work is Monday, July 25th.
The main purpose of the mulching is to improve the appearance of our grounds, but the protective border around our trees will also help protect them from damage by mowers and string trimmers. Most of these trees have never been mulched in the past.
The company doing this work for us will be Parks Services (part of American Mulching out of Troy, MI) who also did the mulching of our front yard trees last fall. We were satisfied with their work last year and are continuing with them this year. We have not been satisfied with the work of the firms that we’ve used in the past for mulching, so we made a switch.
At this point, our desire is to alternate the mulching of our interior and exterior trees each year (i.e., interior trees one year, exterior trees the next year, etc.).
